Well E is being an asshat this week.... He is giving me a hard time about taking the kids over night next week while I work my LAST WEEK of nights!! It's 5 frickin nights for gosh sake!!! Now *I* have to pay the gal that is watching the boys while HE works - his comment "I am gonna have to pay someone to watch my kids while I work?" Ummm HELLO!! What do you think that *I* do??? Welcome to the life of parenthood!! ARRGGGGG it never ends!! NEVER NEVER NEVER THEN I find out he got a parking ticket he didn't pay - so what happens??? *I* get a summons cause the car is in MY name!!! WTF is this??? Oh yeah - I didn't pay it cause they broke my windshield when they put the ticket on it.... WHAT??? I just had that windshield replaced not that long ago to the tune of $200!!!!! AND find out he was in court the other day for something - he didn't say what - just said don't worry I am not in trouble but it cost me alot of $$$ - OH GREAT!! Now what was that about??? Wonder how I can find out - curiousity is killing me... OHHH and he questions where I am going?? What I am doing?? Excuse me but that is NONE of YOUR business!!!!! The man is infuriating!!! I swear! BUT we have things worked out for now.... I am just not talking to him if I can avoid it!! BUT I have today/tonight free so I am gonna go see a "friend" at lunch and perhaps go out tonight for a few drinks!! I am excited!!! First to tackle the dishes.....
OH and one more thing... Got a note from the teacher that said "Deven has been spoken to several times concerning inappropriate talk such as girlfriends, hugging, etc" Ok WHAT does this mean??? So I ask and the reply I get is "Deven has been talking about relationships btwn boys & girls, who likes who & who doesn't like who, who will marry. This subject matter is to mature for the other children & they are uncomfortable. We have asked him several times to stop speaking of this." Ummmm OK is it just me or going by what exactly she says he is talking about it sounds like NORMAL 1st grade talk to me or am I nuts and my child is a bit too mature??? WTF??? The other kids in his is class are 1st graders too, well there are 3 Kindi students too... But come on people!!! If the other kids are uncomfortable maybe YOUR making a big deal about it what is causing that??? Or it's the normal shyness that kids get when you tease them about such things?? I am talking to Dev in small spurts about not saying such things in school - not that there is anything wrong w/it but it's just not stuff you talk about at school.... I have to tread carefully cause he will shut down on me but man it sounds like CRAP to me!!! I am starting to think the teacher is really reaching now... *sigh* Here's hoping things are better after Spring Break...
